Apply Online for 9534 Sub-Inspector Posts – UP Police 2020-2021
Brief Description: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), Lucknow has announced the notification for the vacancies of Sub-Inspectors (SI) in its departments. Previously the recruitment was to be made for 6130 Posts. Now UP Police Board has issued a Corrigendum to notify that the posts have been increased to 9534. There is 5623 vacancy for Civil Police Sub-Inspector, 484 Posts Platoon Commander of PAC/Sub-Inspector Armed Police (Male), and 23 Posts for Fire Service II Officer.
There were 3404 posts of the financial year 2019-20 will be covered in the year 2021. The Online Registration date is expected to begin in December 2020 and the last date will be in January 2021. The candidates who are eligible and fit all the eligibility criteria can read the full notification and apply online when the recruitment date will be announced.

UP Police – Educational Qualification – Sub-Inspector Posts
The candidates with graduate degree and they fulfill all the eligibility norms like weight, height, chest, long run etc will be qualified for the recruitment process.
UP Police – Age Limit for Male & Female
- General Candidates: Between 21 to 28 Years
- OBC, SC/ST: Between 21 to 33 Years
- Age relaxations will be given as per the government rules
UP Police – Physical Measurement Test
- Race:
- Male: 4.8 Kms in 28 minutes
- Female: 2.4 Kms in 16 minutes
- Height:
- Male: 168 cm & 160cm-for ST category
- Female: 152 cm & 147cm-for ST category
- Chest (Only Male):
79 cm (Phulaane par 84 cm) &
77 cm for ST Category (Phulaane par 82 cm)
UP Police – Recruitment Process – Up Police Sub-Inspector Posts
The candidates are advised to be ready for 3 stage recruitment process. They are:
- Online examination
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Document Verification
Note: There will be NO INTERVIEW for UP Police SI recruitment as per the rules of 2015.
Note: the list of final selected candidates will be uploaded on the website will be based on the written examination.
Pay Scale for Sub-Inspector
Rs. 9300-34,800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-
Application Fees
There will be an amount of Rs. 400/- as the examination fees for ALL CATEGORY candidates.
Mode of Payment
The mode of payment of online application will be online. The candidate’s application fees will be collected through Debit card, Credit card, E-Challan or Internet Banking Mode.

Step3. Click on to the link and you will be taken to the Online Application Form Page.

Step5. Now you read the notification and go to the application form page and fill in all the details.
Step6. Click on the final submission and they popup of fee payment gateway will be there where you have to pay the online examination fees.
Step7. Print the online application form from the dashboard for future reference.
According to the sources and as per the advertisement, about 10 lakhs candidates will be going to enroll themselves in UP Police recruitment program.
