About UNFPA Program
United Nations Population Fund Internship program 2020 has been announced by United Nations and applications from all over the world are invited. The program offers a small group of excellent students to get direct exposure to the UNFPA operations and its working culture.
The UNFPA program is designed to complement the development oriented skills, studies and the practical experience in various aspects of the UNFPA work program and behavior.
The applicants, who are interested and want to express their interest in the field of developments, they must be having the capability and ability to adapt to the new environment conditions. They have to work with the individuals from various backgrounds. The selected interns have to work under the supervision of a staff at UNFPA. The interns with the matching backgrounds and with the need of the organization are welcomed.
UNFPA Detailed Eligibility for Internship / Fellowship Program
The selection of the interns for the Internship Program will be selected at competitive basis. The profiles of the interns must be matched with the needs of the organization. The following qualifications are also required for consideration.
- The candidates who have enrolled in advanced degree program or have graduated within last 12 months.
- Must have spoken and written proficiency in English, French, Spanish or Arabic is an asset.
Financial Aspects
- The cost associated in the participation of the Internship Program must be either decided by the students or by the nominating institution which fulfill the financial assistance to its students.
- Students have to meet the living expenses and have to make their arrangements for accommodation, and other requirements. Applicants must have the medical insurance for internship and the proof must be submitted before the beginning of the internship.
- Interns will not be financially helped by UNFPA for their work but they will receive a stipend to cover the basic expenses to cover the internship program. The interns will not financially supported by any University, Institution, Government, and Foundation for the Scholarship Program.
