Indian Navy Recruitment 2020-2021 | Final Year Eligible

Indian Navy announced notification and invited application for Short Service Commission (SSC – 14 Years). The total vacancy announced by Indian Navy is 210 in which Any Degree/ BE/ B.Tech can apply. The vacancy is in Hydro Cadre, Naval Armament, Observer, Pilot, Logistics, Engineering Branch, SSC X (IT), SSC Electrical Branch, and SSC Education.

The total post announced is 210 in which final year candidates can also apply and are also eligible. There is NO FEES and there will be NO EXAM. You can apply for more than one post, but you will have to give preferences. There will be No Indian Navy Entrance Test this year, due to the pandemic.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of Direct Interview / SSB Interview. Indian Navy Officers Selection Procedure 2021

The selection procedure of the candidates will be as follows:

  1. Short-listing for SSB – The short-listing of the applications will be based on the entries (preference) and normalized marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree/examination. The marks will be normalized in the following pattern (URL: Click Here).
    The candidates who completed MCA, M.Sc, MBA, B.Sc, and B.Com, the marks obtained in all the semesters will be considered. In other cases, the marks obtained by the candidates till pre-final year will be considered. Selected candidates in the final merit list will have to submit the proof of qualifying the degree examination with 60% marks and if failing, the candidature will be cancelled and will be prohibited to join the Academy. No communication in this regard will be entertained.
  2. Approximately 8300 candidates will be shortlisted for SSB. The SSB will start from Feb 2021 (tentative) at Bangalore/ Kolkata/ Bhopal/ Vishakhapatnam. SSB for Observer & Pilot entry will be conducted at SSB Bangalore only.
  3. Candidates will be intimated through email, so there is a request not to change the email id for at least till the end of selection procedure. Students can opt for more than entries. The selection will be on the basis of the marks in their qualifying course and the normalization marks.

The application has been started from 18th December 2020 and it will continue to 31st December 2020. Candidates are requested to register themselves as early as possible to avoid the rush at the last time.
